EGAT Presents New Year Gifts to Thai People with the “No.5 Energy-Saving Gift” Campaign

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has launched a special New Year campaign to promote energy conservation and support Thai households under the theme “No.5 Energy-Saving Gift – A Token of Appreciation.” On December 11, 2025, EGAT held a press conference to announce the initiative “EGAT Spreads New Year Happiness – Thais Care for the Planet.” The event was presided over by Mr. Narin Pawanish, Governor of EGAT, and featured the signing ceremony for the cooperation project promoting No.5 energy-saving products between EGAT, product manufacturers, and Siam Global House Public Company Limited (Global House). The ceremony was held at the EGAT 50th Anniversary Building in Nonthaburi Province. Global House was represented by Mr. Santi Piankla, Area Manager 3-3, who participated as the official signatory.

30,000 Discount Privileges for No.5 Energy-Saving Products

Through this collaboration, Global House and EGAT are offering 1,000 discount privileges per day, totaling 30,000 privileges during the entire campaign period.

Daily Privileges Include:

  • 300 THB discount for purchases of No.5-labeled products valued at 1,200 THB or more (Limited to 800 privileges per day)
  • 1,000 THB discount for purchases of No.5-labeled products valued at 5,000 THB or more (Limited to 200 privileges per day)

How to Register and Redeem the Discount

Customers must register via the EGAT website and verify their identity through Thai ID, then Redeem their privilege at any Global House branch within 48 hours. The privileges are available from 15 December 2025 to 13 January 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, or until the daily quota is exhausted.

The campaign encourages the use of energy-saving appliances, reduces household expenses, and helps stimulate the local economy—especially within communities connected to nature-based tourism and sustainable development.
