Siam Global House Expands BESS Deployment Nationwide to Enhance Energy Efficiency and Advance a Smart Energy Ecosystem

31 August 2026

Siam Global House Public Company Limited is advancing its commitment to efficient and sustainable energy management by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AESCON Co., Ltd. and Integra R.E. Co., Ltd. to jointly develop and expand Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations across Siam Global House’s nationwide branch network. The initiative will utilize Huawei’s LUNA2000-241-2S1, a 241 kWh BESS solution, integrated with solar photovoltaic (Solar PV) systems to optimize clean energy utilization, reduce reliance on grid electricity, and support the company’s long-term sustainability goals.

The MOU signing ceremony was held at Huawei Digital Power Hall in Shenzhen, China, with executives from the three companies and Huawei Digital Power in attendance. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Witoon Suriyawanakul, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Global House Public Company Limited; Mr. Apilas Suriyawanakul, Managing Director of AESCON Co., Ltd.; Mr. Junrhey Castro, Managing Director of Integra R.E. Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Zeng Yong, President of Huawei Digital Power Thailand. The executives also discussed opportunities to apply energy storage technology to enhance energy management across Siam Global House’s operations.

The collaboration aims to optimize the use of electricity generated by Solar PV systems. The BESS solution will store surplus solar energy generated during the daytime for use in the evening or during periods when solar generation is insufficient, thereby maximizing self-consumption of renewable energy. The system can also be charged during off-peak periods when electricity tariffs are lower and discharged during periods of higher electricity demand and higher Time-of-Use (TOU) tariffs. This approach will provide greater flexibility in energy management and help improve the efficiency of electricity cost management.

Mr. Witoon Suriyawanakul, Chief Executive Officer of Siam Global House Public Company Limited, said, “Solar PV has played an important role in enabling our branches to generate and use clean energy during the daytime. Battery Energy Storage will further enhance the utilization of this energy by storing surplus power and making it available when solar generation is insufficient. This will improve energy efficiency, reduce reliance on grid electricity, and provide greater flexibility in energy management across our branches.”

The signing of the MOU marks another important step in Siam Global House’s efforts to apply energy storage technology to its business operations. The company plans to expand BESS installations across its nationwide branch network, with the goal of covering all branches within three years. This initiative will enhance energy management efficiency and establish a scalable model for the broader adoption of clean energy solutions across the organization.

The collaboration also reflects Siam Global House’s commitment to responsible resource management and environmental sustainability. By increasing the utilization of renewable energy and applying advanced technologies to improve energy management, the company aims to strengthen operational efficiency, reduce its environmental impact, and lay the foundation for sustainable long-term growth.
